Frozen Rosé (aka Frosé)

Frozen Rose Frose Recipe

Rosé is having a bit of a renaissance right now (mainly because it is so pretty and fun in pictures).  And this cocktail in particular has absolutely exploded on social media (mainly because it too is so pretty and fun in pictures).  Frozen Rosé is another great adult slushie that is pretty simple at its base, but can be fun to play with and customize.  I decided to take this already boozy cocktail and make it even boozier!  To make sure it wasn’t overly sweet, I mixed both dry and fruity Rosé, and I cut the sweetness further by steeping basil in my simple syrup and adding some citrus to liven things up.  A little splash of Campari right before serving pumps up the look of this cocktail and elevates it with a touch of fruity bitters.  It’s a frou frou cocktail to be sure, and undeniably girly, but it’s still great for pictures and tastes great too.  😉
