Atlanta is a city with an insane food scene that just won’t stop. But in a town that is overflowing with options, a restaurant has to have a hook. Enter: The Nook! Whether you’re boozing it up for brunch, or in need of a healthy wrap after a run through Piedmont Park, The Nook is quickly becoming a Midtown craving of mine. It’s a restaurant that is centered around fun, relaxing with friends, and getting a big ass cocktail. 😉
This is a cocktail that is fun for those who ordered it, those who have to drive them home, and for those who just enjoy people watching. The Nook knows their clientele, and they delight in drink offerings that are as absurd as they are delicious. These drinks require committment and aren’t met for the faint of heart.
I’m not usually a healthy food eater. I don’t think anyone will ever accuse me of being a health nut. But this Salmon BLT Wrap is simply amazing. I think it’s the basil cream sauce that really keeps me coming back for more. I can enjoy this healthy(ish) option and indulge in the accompanying tater-tots guilt free.
Tots + Nachos = Totchos. This is The Nook’s real claim to fame. Totchos are a thing of beauty. You can get them topped with eggs, pulled pork, even mac n’ cheese! There is even a competition for these things that involves 5 lbs of totchos. This is hang-over food at it’s best. It’s all of your favorite morning after food in one place, on top of tater tots.
Boom! Drop the mic…
