There aren’t enough vertical striped ensembles out there.  I do love a good nautical horizontal stripe but don’t we think that the vertical lines deserve some loving?  This dress was a total impulse purchase from Ann Taylor because of the long lines, the light fabric, and it’s ability to double as a beach cover up if needed.  It’s also been the perfect weekend dress lately since I can roll the sleeves up or down depending on the quickly changing weather.  And how about those gold sunnies!  I’ve been a longtime fan of anything Karen Walker does, especially her eyewear.  Her cat eye sunnies are perfectly over-dramatic.  I’ve worn them a ton on the blog before in her “crazy tortoise” color but this lucite gold pair is going to be in major rotation this summer.
