Confession: I LOVE to mix and match patterns and colors.  Stripes and polka dots.  Polka dots and leopard.  Gingham and anything.  In this case, I went with this trifecta of gingham, stripes, and leopard.  Not to mention, my personal favorite, fuchsia lipstick.  Sticking with neutrals (except for the lips and nails obviously) make these particular pieces work together because they are in the same palette and don’t overwhelm the eye.  Playing with patterns isn’t for everyone.  But when you’re with a group of people…you gotta do what you gotta do to stand out in the crowd ;-).
