It’s no secret that one of my favorite libations besides a good bourbon and coke (ahhh how I miss the football season) is anything involving champagne (champs!) like this recipe. Now the fruit that I used is a little different than the recipe because of what was available to me at my local grocery store (and can be altered seasonally). I used apples instead of grapefruit because, well… I’m just not a huge fan of grapefruit. Consequently, I also used a different juice. But this is a recipe anyone can play with to make their own. I was a little concerned that this would be overly sweet, but the ginger ale and champs really make it lovely and light. Perfect on a hot, southern summer day.
