Sometimes my girly side can run away with me. Whether it’s a ridiculous birthday costume or an overly themed brunch, I do at times revel in being a girl. But, that being said, I do have a side to me that just loves being one of the guys. I came across this recipe on Pinterest and immediately felt that side of me kick-in. I mean what could be better than beer, brown sugar, and bacon for breakfast!? My friends and I have eaten several different variations of sugar and spiced bacon, but none have ever incorporated beer. I went with a hometown fav, Sweetwater 420, for this little experiment because I wanted to go with a beer that had a flavor to compliment the brown sugar without overpowering it. One tip, the trick to getting the bacon really crispy is the cooling rack. Make sure you give it time to cool and crisp up before you serve in a pint glass, naturally.
