Travel-Sized Wonders

Travel Size Must Haves Hair Dryer Straightener Mini Emergency Kit Dry Shampoo Spiral Bobby Pin Perfume Phone Charger Face Toner Mist

Having just spent the past week traveling all over Europe, I wanted to take a moment to highlight those small but mighty items that made traveling with only one bag in tow a littler easier to manage in style.  This isn’t a sponsored post in any way; these are the items that I use regularly when I travel and some in my typical day-to-day life.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo (Size 1.8 oz): This is a great product that I am continually restocking for everyday use.  I’ve tried a lot of different dry shampoos over the years and I just keep coming back to this one because it adds volume and thickness to my roots, extends the life of my hair, and smells oh so good.  I think I may have even turned Meggie into a Living Proof convert with this little bottle.  SHOP HERE

Mini Emergency Kit: How cute is this little pouch!?  You can find these in a ton of places in a ton of colors and prints.  But don’t let the cute and small exterior fool you.  This little guy is packing all of the essentials like band-aids, extra bobby pins, deodorant, stain remover, mouth wash, and hair spray just to name a few of the SEVENTEEN items in this little kit.  SHOP HERE

Caudalie Beauty Elixir (Size 1 oz): Here is another item that I utilize almost everyday whether I’m traveling or puttering around Atlanta.  I keep a bottle on my vanity for a morning toner spritz and I tote the mini bottle around in my purse for a mid day boost to hydrate my skin.  Aside from the skin care benefits, the rosemary, mint, and rose fragrance of the toner is a great burst to the rest of my senses to help wake me up and feel refreshed all at the same time.  Plus, the pretty little bottle doesn’t hurt either.   SHOP HERE

Portable Hair Dryer/Straightener with Dual Voltage: Okay so these are the newest editions to my travel luggage and they have been huge space savers.  If you travel abroad or ever plan to, make sure you purchase a hair dryer with dual voltage settings.  Blowing a fuse in a foreign country sucks and can add a lot of extra time to the getting ready process and may even leave you scrambling for a semi-dry, semi-straightened updo that has you avoiding all group pictures.  And this little hair dryer is qute the powerful little tool so you’re not sacrificing anything and gaining a huge space saver.  SHOP HERE & HERE

Mophie Portable Phone Charger: This is an item that I keep with me no matter where I’m going or what I’m doing when I travel.  You never want to risk being somewhere that you are unfamiliar with and have no way of contacting anyone in case of an emergency or, you know, you take a really cute picture and need to post it immediately to Instagram or Facebook (no judgements).   SHOP HERE

Tory Burch Eau de Parfum (Size .2 oz): If you’re like me and my friends, we like to come up with a loose itinerary for our trips no matter how long or short.  But inevitably, no matter how much we plan, things are going to come up and cause us to shuffle some things around.  Sometimes there just isn’t enough time to run back to the hotel to freshen up before dinner or before a show.  That’s when keeping a little rollerball perfume stick on you become a great necessity.  SHOP HERE

Spiral Bobby Pins: I’ll close out on one more item that I keep on me pretty much everyday regardless of whether I’m travelling or not.  Bobby pins are like pens and socks, the more you buy, the more you lose, loan, and/or misplace them.  I personally can’t keep up with more than 5 bobby pins at any one time.  But these spiral bobby pins are big enough that they are harder to loose in the bottom of a purse and just two can do what 6 or 7 old school bobby pins can do.  If I’ve been walking around all day and need to twist my hair up in a chignon, these two pins are quick and easy to throw my hair up and keep my travels moving.  SHOP HERE
