While my lipstick addiction usually precludes me from delving to far into my make-up talents (of which there are minimal), there are those times when an outfit begs for a bit of a vamped up eye; drama of a different variety. A smoky eye is typically a nighttime look, created with blacks and deep greys. With my fair skin, those hues are just a bit too harsh for my liking. Below are the steps that I use to create the same drama-filled look but with shimmery browns, charcoals, and even purples.
What you’ll need:
Benefits Cream Shadow in “My Two Cents” | NARS Eye Shadow Duo in “Cordura” | Precision Shadow Brush | Stila Eyeliner in “Purple Tang” | Angled Eyeliner Brush | Highlighter Pencil | Mascara
Step 4: Rim your eye, with a dark eye liner.
Step 7: Add 2 coats of mascara to both top and bottom lashes.
