On Wednesdays…

Kate Spade Zara Pink…we wear pink.  Insert eye roll.  Sorry, I couldn’t resist, but whatever, it’s a classic quote for a reason.  Moving on.  I’ve always believed that my favorite color is blue.  As a girly tomboy growing up, I reveled in not having a typical favorite girly shade.  At one point my mother even tried to put me on blue restriction, insisting that I buy clothing in any other shade.  A few days ago, some co-workers and I were having a color-centric conversation (as marketing professionals are want to do) and when I informed them that blue was my favorite color, I was told “No it’s not.  It’s pink.  Bright pink, and everywhere.”  I took a moment, surprised, but I think they are correct.  Some how every shade of pink imaginable has replaced my cool blue hues.  How did I let this happen?  And why is my justification for this that hot pink looks better with a leopard print?  So many questions…
