On the Waterfront

Charleston Waterfront Gingham Sailboat SkirtOne of my favorite parts of my trip home last weekend was getting to play in Waterfront Park with my friend Josh and his camera.  Growing up, I always loved this park because of the beautiful views of the harbor and it’s enormous water fountains.  As a child (and a grown-up, obviously), no one can resist dipping a foot into the pineapple fountain or running through the huge sprinkler fountain.  As Josh and I walked to grab a bite to eat we noticed that the sprinkler fountain was completely empty so I just couldn’t resist kicking off my wedges for a quick frolic.  Hey, you’re only as old as you feel.  Josh is an aspiring photographer and I think we can all agree that the boy as some serious natural talent.  I can’t wait for our next photography adventure next time I’m home.
