Even though I enjoy spicing up my day-to-day denim, I’m still a tomboy-in-a-dress at heart.  But with the constant cold weather, what’s a girl to do?  I love the addition of black tights with a dress, but for some reason I always thought that you had to wear black pumps with your black tights.  That is until I decided not to.  I was a little skeptical, so I talked one of my girlfriends into testing out this theory (sorry Megan, you were my guinea pig) via our usual texting style sessions.  When she raved about the results, I decided it was time to take this look for a spin of my own.  The extra pop of color at the feet keeps it interesting and playful (and a bit Minnie Mouse if we’re being honest), and is a welcome change to the usual “disappearing  feet” phenomena of black-on-black.
