I had my first Valentine in the fifth grade when Matt Grainger snuck a rose into my desk. It was the first time a boy had ever given me flowers. Even now I have that flower pressed between two pages of a book. It still makes me smile to think back to such a simple and sweet moment. I hope for everyone celebrating tomorrow, that while you are enjoying the grandiose displays of love and affection from their loved ones, that you also take a few moments to appreciate the simple presence of love in your life. It’s a gift to be cherished. I’ll be sending my love out to everyone in my life tomorrow! Have a great weekend.
